At Greenhouse Montessori School, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where children aged 2 through Kindergarten thrive.

We welcome all children, regardless of race, creed, color, or national origin, who are ready to engage with our mastery-based Montessori curriculum.

Admission is based on space availability and an assessment of developmental readiness—including independent toileting—to ensure our program is the right fit for your child’s educational journey.

Our Enrollment Process

We invite you to follow these steps to join our school community:

First step

Schedule a School Observation

Parents are invited to observe a class in progress. This initial visit is an excellent opportunity to experience our environment firsthand, witness our teaching philosophy, and discuss any questions with our directors.

Second step

Submit Your Application

Complete our application form and submit the $50.00 registration fee. This guarantees your child's placement in a classroom or secures their position on our priority waiting list.

Third step

Family Visit & Readiness Assessment

Once space is confirmed, we arrange a visit for both parent(s) and child. This allows the child to meet their teacher, explore classroom materials, and feel comfortable in their new environment. It also provides an opportunity to assess developmental readiness.

Final step

Registration & Documentation

Following the assessment, you will receive our full registration packet. To finalize enrollment, please return all completed forms, including proof of current immunizations and a physician-signed medical report, before the child's first day of school.

Health & Safety Requirements

In accordance with California State law, all children must provide written proof of current immunizations before their first day. Additionally, we require a medical report signed by a physician confirming the child’s good health and providing results of a T.B. test administered within the last twelve months.

Yearly Schedule & Programs

Greenhouse Montessori operates year-round to support the needs of our families:

Academic School Year (September – June): Tuition is structured for the full ten-month academic year. Please note that the upcoming school year officially begins on August 31st, 2026.
Summer Program (July – August): Available for both current and new students. Registration for this program opens each spring.

Planning Ahead: The Waiting List

We encourage families to join our waiting list as early as possible. Applications for children under 2 ½ years old can be submitted at any time. We process these in the order received, and you will be contacted each spring to update your status.

Flexibility for Families: We respect your decision regarding your child’s readiness. If a spot becomes available and you feel your child is not yet prepared to start, you may decline without losing your position on our waiting list.
